"Overall this is a very good book. It covers from basic Windows Forms to Advanced features such as data handling, resource management and multi-threaded applications. There are plenty of examples and code snippets of the topics covered. The book could have gone a little more in depth on issues like datasets, however it covered the basics of data manipulations. There is a very nice set of color photos in the middle of the book showing examples of some of the GDI features such as brushes and transparencies." - Teresa Bennett
