7/1/2008 - San Diego .NET Developer Group Meeting (JULY 2008)

Windows Communication Foundation (Scott Reed)
Raffle

Windows Communication Foundation, which was released with .NET 3.0, was
designed to provide a unified programming model for all styles of
communication. It obsoletes and builds on prior technologies like .NET
Remoting and ASMX Web Services to provide a simple programming model, yet
one which is extremely customizable. It enables developers to build
services encapsulating the business logic of their applications without
worrying about how those services will communicate.
