SOFTWARE ENGINEER - C# Winforms / Networking

CardioDynamics is a rapidly growing medical technology company committed to changing the way cardiac patient monitoring is performed.
The Software Engineer will contribute to the specification, development and testing of medical device software and documentation for CDIC products. Responsibilities span the software development lifecycle; preparation of specifications with Marketing, coding, testing, manufacturing transfer and participation in regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities will include the following:
-Medical device software development using .NET 2.0 Framework and C#.
-Develop SW in compliance with FDA and ISO requirements for medical device development activities.
-Assist in the creation of and maintenance of software related documents.
-Support SW Verification and Validation.
-Candidates must be highly skilled with the use of development methods that comply with rigorous quality systems for SW development.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
4 to 6 years SW development experience (medical device SW development experience in an FDA regulated environment is highly desired)

-.NET 2.0 Framework, C#, and Winforms development experience using MS Visual Studio is required.
-Object Oriented Design (OOD) and UML are also required skills.
-Experienced with Network interfacing and data communications protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP). Wireless (802.11) applications development is also desired.
-Experience with developing interfaces to Electronic Medical Records systems (e.g. HL7 or DICOM) is highly desirable.
-Experience with SQL databases is also desired.
-Embedded Visual C++ and MFC, Windows API, WinCE system level knowledge along with skills and experience with WinCE debugging tools and techniques is a plus.
